He is survived by: his mother Judith Caine; his children, Cameron Heidenga (Sabrina), Brooke Heidenga, Abbigail Heidenga (Tyler Rohloff), Madeline Heidenga and Connor Heidenga; his grandchildren, Owen and Henrik Heidenga; and his siblings, Mary Schafer (Joseph), Elizabeth Stickroe (Robert), Jane Garland (Tom) and Daniel Heidenga (Melissa).
