He was predeceased by: his wife Renee Thielen; and his siblings, Betty Woodbury, Gerald Thielen, Marcella Sharrar, Rich Thielen and John Thielen.
He is survived by: his brothers, Benny Goodman, Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby; his children, Raymond Thielen (Julie) of Fremont, Michele Anderson (Damian) of Coopersville and Alecia Thielen of Wyoming; his grandchildren, Bethany Edwards (Nick), Rebecca Thielen, Heath Thielen (Tara), Lauren Anderson, Cosmas Anderson, Claire Holroyd and Chase Holroyd; his great grandchildren, Kaden, Paige, Mia, Emmett and Harry; and his siblings, Mary Ann, Donald Thielen (Joan) and Kate Whiting (Rodger). He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
