Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joyce Ann Wierenga of Grand Rapids, Michigan, born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 84, on March 25, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Lerke and Erna Lerke (Stephan); her sister Dolores Lyon; her former life partner David Ragan; and her daughter Deborah Ragan.

She is survived by : her husband Rodney Wierenga; her daughter Laura Ragan; her brother-in-law Wally Lyon; her cousin Kent Kramer (Dale); her nieces, Jennifer Ahrens (Dave) and Beth Muldoon (Jim); her half-sister Jean Alspaugh (Denny); and her stepchildren, Jane Johnson (Mark), Kristi Rickert (David) and Sandy Cundiff (Jim). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

For a more lasting memorial, donations may be made in Joyce's name to Corewell Health Hospice.
