She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Folkertsma and Laura Folkertsma; and her siblings, Richard Folkertsma, Deanna, Klaas Kapteyn and Linda DeVries.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Beverly Folkertsma, Norma Kapteyn and Albert DeVries; and her nieces and nephews, Daniel, Michael Kapteyn, Rachael Morrison and Joy VanLaar. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with their children and grandchildren.
