She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bertram Cattley and Dora Cattley (Racette); her former husband Robert "Bob" W. Christian; her husband Bill; her children, Deborah Schuitema (Daniel) and Robert Christian (Barbara); her grandchildren, Kari Moore (Brad), Cassandra Christian and Kelsey Christian (James Costa); her great grandchildren, Sydney Moore and Quinn Moore; and her sister Gayle Lone. She was also cherished by four sons, their wives, and their many children and grandchildren.

Contributions in memory of Joyce Hodges may be made to Faith Hospice or First Congregational Church.
