She was predeceased by: her son Joe Scheid, Jr.; her grandson Kyle Johnson; her brothers, William, Ben and Don; and her sister-in-law Dolorine Vainavicz.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Scheid (Paula), Theresa Johnson (Dan), Brian Scheid and James Scheid (Meg); her grandchildren, Jenny Carney (Luke), Jason Scheid (Kate), Dom Smigiel (Karla), Julie Catherino (Brent), Bridget Weidner (Vic), Kayla Lapp (Tyler), Lydia Johnson, Savannah Scheid, Nicole Scheid, Julia Scheid and Sarah Scheid; her brother Rev. Anthony Vainavicz; and her sisters-in-law, Rae Marie Vainavicz and Karlene Vainavicz. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
