It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Bernice Tilma (Grand Rapids, Michigan), born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Theodore and Dennis Gabrielse; and her siblings-in-law, Stuart and Jean De Jong. She is survived by: her children, Barbara DeKorne (David), Marijo Vaughan (Mark), Thomas Tilma (Amy Poplaski) and Larry Tilma (Lori); her grandchildren, John DeKorne (Rebekah), Daniel DeKorne (Karyn), Jeffrey DeKorne (Alyssa), Robert Vaughan (Jamie), Ryan Vaughan (Chelsea Jandernoa), Anne Tilma, Nicholas Tilma, Joshua Tilma (Chelsea), Luke Tilma (Emily) and Emma Tilma; her children, Hannah, Leah, David, Kathryn, Andrew, Klaire, Jack, Hudson, Madison, Callie, Parker, Avery and Remy; her sister Eunice Stegink (John); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Gabrielse and Jan Scheffler (Vic). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in June's memory may be made to the Plymouth Heights CRC Christian Education Fund.
