We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Karen E. Brinks (Grand Rapids, Michigan). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert VanderBand and Esther VanderBand; her sister Lynne Cleveringa; and her nephew John Snyder II. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Brinks; her children, Kimberly Kieke (Joe), Jodie Root (Brian), Melanie Sheldon (Bruce) and Lance Brinks (Heather); and her siblings, Phyllis Rose and Bruce VanderBand (Judy). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are requested to the Greater Michigan Alzheimer's Association, http://www.alz.org.
