Karen left this world on July 15, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dykstra and Senetta Dykstra of Cutlerville, Michigan.; and her siblings, Jimmy Dykstra, Donna and Diane.
She is survived by: her children, Bradley Kloosterman (Jenny) and Amy Laudenslager (Geno); her grandchildren, Hadley, Rhett, Kipp and Whitley Kloosterman; her children, Rylee Groenink, Matthew and Andrew Laudenslager; and her sisters, Sharon Tubbs and Barb Jonker.
She spent many years participating in "the Soups On" fundraiser in Grand Rapids, where she could use her creativity and talent decorating bowls for charity.
