He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Downer and Dolores Downer; and his brother Michael P. Downer. He is survived by: his children, Megan Swain (Ken), Joseph Downer (Krista) and Mary Kailing (Roger); his grandchildren, Evelyn, Theodore, Stella, Colsen and Louis; and his brothers, Dennis Downer (Linda) and Gary Downer (Char). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
