He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry VanDrese and Sadie VanDrese (Delmont); and his son Jeffrey Allen VanDrese. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Shirk; his children, Cindy Crafton (Jay) of Liton, IN and Craig VanDrese (Tracy) of Grand Rapids, MI; his siblings, Ronald VanDrisse of Shawno, WI, Sharon (Alex), Shirley (Gene), Cheryl Pepin (Larry) of Daggett, MI and Joann Reynolds of Cornell, MI.; his siblings-in-law, Lois VanDrese, Kathy Shirk and James Shirk; his brother Clayton VanDrese; his siblings-in-law, Judy VanDrisse, Linda Shirk, Peggy Brown, Irma Anderkin, Sharon Shirk, Suzanne Alexander, Bill Reynolds, Paul Shirk and Shane Shirk; his brother Leroy VanDrese; his nephew Randy VanDrisse; his siblings-in-law, Al Sovey, Cheryl Pepin, Larry Shirk, Mike, Chris Shirk and Joann Reynolds; and also, Rose Henderson, Don, Cindy LaMarche, Deb Kermo and Josh Webber. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, And numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home (706 Wisconsin Ave, Gladstone, MI 49837). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
