He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Karlek and Margaret Karlek; and his sons, Nicholas and Tyler Karlek. He is survived by: his children, Alyssa Karlek and Nathan Karlek; his siblings, Betty Berggren and Kris Karlek; and his former wife Deb Karlek.
