He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Preston Hanenburg and Ramona Hanenburg (Vandenburg); his son Stephen Hanenburg (Lauri); his granddaughters, Katherine and Mallory Hanenburg; his siblings, Linda (William Hoekstra), Daniel (Marilyn Hanenburg), Paul Hanenburg and Peggy (Scott Homerding); his brother-in-law William Buikema; his friend Marge Salna; and his sister Debra Buikema.
