It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of LaVal Bernice Todd of Grand Rapids, Michigan, born in Big Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Sweet and Dorothy Sweet (Suckow); her brother Gary Sweet; and her niece Niki Sweet. She is survived by: her husband Gilbert "Bud" Todd; her children, Teri Hays (Terry) of Reed City, Lauri Knoop (Tom) of Reed City and Jeff Todd (Renee) of Ortonville; her grandchildren, Todd Hays (Mandy), Garrett Hays (Loretta), Trenton Hays (Amanda), Kyle Knoop (Megan), Lacey Knoop, Summer Goessman (Michael) and Skylar Todd; her brother Loren Sweet (Debra) of Reed City; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Sweet, Della Hanson, Alvin Todd (Jeannette) and Buck Harrison (Jackie). She is also survived by nine greatgrandchildren.
