He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Coppens and Frances Coppens (Dado); and his brother Robert Coppens (Bob). He is survived by: his son Larry; his wife Jean (Hoedema); his children, Cassandra Coppens of Vermont, Allison LaCroix (Nicholas) of Grand Rapids and Matt Coppens (Ranise) of Memphis, Tennessee; his granddaughters, Ella and Sofie LaCroix; his siblings, Nancy Corrigan of Belen, Judy Crittenden (Larry) of Hickory Corners and James Coppens (Thess) of Altamonte Springs; and his sister-in-law Louise Koster of Holland.
