The memory of Lawrence D. Bos Sr. (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on June 25, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his mother Cecilia Bos (Dolores Bos); and his daughters, Sandra Duyst and Mary Ellen Spring. He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his children, Laura Van Popering (Larry) and Lawrence D. Bos, Jr. (Dawn); his son-in-law James Spring (Sherri); his grandchildren, David Duyst (Jodi), Amelia Peterson (Timm), Allison Hedrick (Jeremy), Erica Duyst, Timothy Duyst (Kristina), Kelly Bos, Alex Bos, Maria Bos and Grace Van Popering; his great grandchildren, Rachael Duyst, Ashleigh Duyst, Cassandra Duyst, Kasen Duyst, Clarke Ellen Hedrick, Eliza Ann Hedrick and Savannah Duyst; and his great great grandchild Vivian Leigh Brown.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the LaGrave Christian Reformed Church (107 La Grave Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence D. Sr. and Dolores Bos Family Scholarship Fund at Calvin College, Henry Beets Mission Society, or Hospice of Michigan Dolores Bos Crystal Rose Society.
