He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Miller and Emma Miller (Susterich); his wife Charlene Miller (Kay); his brothers, Donald Miller (Betty) and Milton Miller (Dorothy); and his brother-in-law Melton Ammerman.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Miller (Cathy), David Miller, Gary Miller (Ann Spain) and Jayne Fischer (Joseph); his grandchildren, Andrew Miller (Heather), Jana Miller, Lara DeWitt (Andrew), Joseph Fischer (Phoebe), Lindsey Fischer and Leslie Thomas (Nicholas); and his great grandchildren, Elise Miller, Liliana Miller, Penelope DeWitt, Violet DeWitt, Tucker Clute, Ardie Clute, Joseph Fischer, Weston Fischer, Ella Proctor (Kerry Myers), Ryder McBride, Nicholas Thomas, Ryan Thomas and Zenner Thomas.
