She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Flournoy and Geneva Flournoy; and her daughter Rita Renee McKnight. She is survived by: her sons, Rufus J. Joplin, Steven W. Joplin, Henry A. Brown and Rozell R. Taylor; her grandchildren, Trina Johnson, Chitongna Willis, Montese Johnson, Shanika McKnight, Terrell McKnight, Art Brown, Veronica Starks, Torrie Starks, Iriale Joplin, Dorian Taylor, Chole Taylor and Pharrell Taylor; and her great grandchild Janet Dempsey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
