Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lloyd DeVries of Grand Rapids, Michigan, born in Princeton, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 79, on October 26, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert DeVries and Wilma DeVries; his wife Phyllis VanDam; and his siblings, Glen, John, Robert and Jean Wark.
He is survived by: his brothers, Gerald DeVries (Eileen), Marvin DeVries (Sharon), Clarence DeVries, Larry DeVries and Dale DeVries; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara DeVries (David), Linda Perkins (Jerome), Paul VanDam, Fran DeVries and Alice DeVries. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Lloyd loved his alma mater, Calvin University, and requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory be made to the Lloyd DeVries Scholarship Fund at Calvin University.
