He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Ford and Sylvia Ford (Traxler); and his siblings, Janet, Luree and Duane.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Ford; his children, Susan Wood and Lloyd K. Ford Jr. (Melissa); his grandchildren, Connor Wood, Taylor Wood, Collin Krause (Raychil) and Brock Ford; and his siblings, Jeff Ford (Karen), Mary Anderson (Jerry) and Frances Nelson (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
