He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Sr. Ney and Ethel Ney; his stepmother Janet Ney; and his brother-in-law Mike Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Janette Ney; his children, Lloyd James III, Eric Ney and Colleen Marie Heyboer (Kevin); his grandchildren, Lloyd IV "Jamie", Jacob, Jackson Ney, Lorelai and Evin Heyboer; his sister-in-law Marie Lucas; and his stepbrothers, Richard Profit (Becky) and Bill Profit (Vicky).
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (15164 Juniper Dr, Marne, MI 49435).
