She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Herweyer and Anne Herweyer (Deemter); her husband Gerald Veldkamp; her sister Shirley; and her brothers-in-law, Bruce Oosterhaven and Bernard Van Ark (Bunk).
She is survived by: her children, Kathie Visker (Ken), Shari Kreuzer (Kevin), Steve Veldkamp (Jo Lynn) and Deb Kleinbrook (Bob); her siblings, Norma Van Ark, Sandy VanderPloeg (Bill), Alan Herweyer (Judy) and Mike Herweyer (Rose); and her brother-in-law Arnold Veldkamp (Garneth). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Prison Ministry.
