She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Robert C. Oom; her parents, George Broodman and Dora Broodman (Stuk); and her brothers, Alvan, Paul and Jerome.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Oom (Doreen) and Dori Rankin (Jim); her grandchildren, Cory Oom (Brittney) and Kaleigh Ritchie (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Kent, Cayde Oom, Luke and Miles Ritchie; and her sister Delores Hoekzema. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
