It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lori Joan Jacob of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on June 22, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her former life partner Gerry VanderStel; her parents, Henry Szarkowski and Marilyn Szarkowski; and her sister Mary Lou. She is survived by : her husband Tom; her children, Gerry, Jennifer, Salem, Ansley, Kitty and Ryan; her stepchildren, Mike, Kristin, Tony, Kourtney, Christopher and Meredith; her siblings, Kitty, Dorie, Sue, Ed and Steven; her stepfather Big Steve; and her grandchildren, Caleb, Maggie, Allie, Easton, Vince, Grace, Louis, Ella, Annabelle, Emberly and Isla Jo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
