He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jacobs and Iva Jacobs (Bone); his sister Judie Davidson (Jim); his granddaughter Jamie Stowe; and his great grandchild Robert Shomo.
He is survived by: his wife Suzi Jacobs (Gillespie); his daughters, Debby Gherity (Shawn), Leslie Stowe (Mark), Patti Whitehead (George), Lois Cutler (Howard) and Beth Hitchcock (Scott); and his grandchildren, Chad Shomo, Troy Shomo (Olivia), Jenny Ouhl (Doug), Peter Whitehead (Sarah), Cate Baxter (Jeff), Patrick Whitehead (Erica), Alison Santellan (Andrew), Andrew Hitchcock (Laura), Emma Stevens (Milo) and Rachel Cutler. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grandville Church of Christ (3725 44th St SW, Grandville, MI 49418).
