Lucille Young Obituary
We bid farewell to Lucille Young of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 21, 2026 at the age of 88. Lucille touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Mudget and LaRue Mudget; her husband Edward Young, Sr.; and her son-in-law Don Knight. She is survived by: her children, Ed Young, Jr. (Cathy), Marie Young, Knight, Dan Young (Deb) and Raymond Young (Ida); her brother Gary Stuifbergen (Liz); and her sister-in-law Judy Mudget. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Byron Center Bible Church (8855 Byron Center Ave SW, Byron Center, MI 49315).
