He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Tyler and Helen Joyce Tyler (Kindel). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie C. Hook; his daughters, Sarah Winkel (Samuel) of Tampa, FL and Abigail Fynewever (Jason) of Atlanta, GA.; his grandson Jack Winkel; his sister Kate Kindel of New Hampshire; and his extended family, James, Catherine Hook (Brundidge) of Kewadin, MI, William and Elizabeth Armstrong (Hook) of Dillon, MT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He served on the boards of Fountain Street Church and the Forest Hills Schools Educational Foundation.
