She was predeceased by: her significant other Gerald Bykerk; her significant other's son Mitchell Bykerk; her parents, Minor Staal and Dorothy Staal; her siblings, Dorothy and Minor, Jr. (Snookie); and her close friend David Tuuk.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Susan Bykerk), Jeff (Nancy Bykerk), Terry (Lisa Bykerk) and Pat (Becki Bykerk); her siblings, Marilyn Schaal and David; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Staal, Martina Voortman, Mary VanDyke and Gertrude Wolfert. She is also survived by 62 grandchildren, their spouses, and great-grandchildren.
