With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margie May (Tappen) Duiven (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Tappen and Zoe Tappen; her in-laws, Lou and Harriet Duiven; and her brothers-in-law, John Duiven (Sue) and Roger Duiven (Lynne).
She is survived by: her husband Don Duiven; her children, Darcy Beavan (Joe), Marnie TenCate (Scott) and Brett Duiven (Molly); her grandchildren, Greg (Lisa), Joey, Carson, Collin, Elia Beavan, Max, Maddie TenCate, Miles and Claudia Duiven; her great grandchildren, Jack and Alice Beavan; and her sister-in-law Marge Birch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
