She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Byam; and her siblings, Ernest (Ellen Mae), Joseph Oesch (Melva), Ella Louise Blough (Lloyd), Virginia Schutte (Derry), Kathryn Wheeler (Carl) and Margaret Oesch.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Pieringer (Craig), Fritz Byam (Kim), Jodi Kennedy (Tom), Kathi Austin (Ted) and Kristi Mehal (Scott). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Marilyn's memory.
