She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Beninga and Jennie Beninga; and her siblings, Harlan Beninga (Rosie), Bernard Beninga (Betty) and Delores Main (Don).
She is survived by: her friend Sylvia Semplonius; and her children, Denise van der Laan (Mark), Michele Zuidema (Joel), Janeen Van Swol (Paul) and Mark Bergsma (Kim). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and spouses, 21 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
