Mark Stoppels Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 30, 2026, Mark Stoppels of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rev. Charles Stoppels and Iris Stoppels (Muyskens); his children, Kelley (Shawn Hughes) and Andrew (Darren Pierson); his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Henry Stoppels-Hughes; his sisters, Laura Chamberlain, Jeanne Stoppels (John Carroll) and Alice Ray; and his aunt June Stoppels. He was also cherished by several cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
The family requests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
