We bid farewell to Marlene Labinski (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 16, 2025 at the age of 89. Marlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schmid and Sophie Schmid (Michalak); her brothers, Fred Schmid (Pat) and Bill Schmid; her sister-in-law Audrey Thomason (Bernie); her grandparents, Wilhelm, Theresa Schmid (Geiger), John and Mary Michalak (Piecychna); and her son-in-law Ron Arbanas.
She is survived by: her husband Peter Labinski; her children, Dan Labinski (Lisa), Cathy Ebmeyer (Reed), David Labinski (Betsy), Mary Labinski, Stan Labinski (Tari) and Beverly Bowman (Todd); her grandchildren, Amy (John), Eric, Kristi (Alyssa), Reed (Christina), Erin (Cody), Brittany (Jamie), Emily (Drew), Rebecca (Dan), Kevin, Tonya (Sean), Shane, Matthew and Nathan; and her sister-in-law Saralyn Schmid. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
