She was predeceased by: her parents, Murl LaFave and Agatha LaFave (Seurynck); and her brother-in-law Curt Berkenpas. She is survived by: her siblings, Dennis LaFave (Cheryl), Lynette LaFave (Randy Mikolowski) and Kathy Berkenpas; her nephew Jared LaFave (Sarah); her children, Baker, Arden, Brooke Fox (Rob), Lily, Adam Berkenpas and Stephanie LaFave (Scot Ciarkowski); her grandchildren, Jackson, Mary Blythe, Sloane Teitsma and Parker Ciarkowski; her sister Helen; her brother-in-law Bob Lynema; her stepgranddaughter Elise Coffey (Kyle); Abby and Katie. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (2750 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
