She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie VanderSloot and Dewey VanderSloot; and her brother Duane (Joyce VanderSloot). She is survived by: her children, Michelle, Ed Mitchell, Shayne and Scott Fifer; her grandchildren, Shelby, Nate Golds, Carl, Bree Mitchell, Cody Fifer, Evan, MaKenzie Fifer, Emily and Michael Vander Veen; and her great grandchildren, Atlas, Harlan and Warren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
