She was predeceased by : her husband Boyd H Pearce; her parents, Joseph E LaPonsie and Sadie Francis LaPonsie (Visner); and her brothers, Joseph (Rose), William James (Mildred) and Jack Sr..

She is survived by : her children, Theresa Pearce and Boyd Pearce (Jill); her grandson Tony Lis; her son-in-law Ed Lis; and her sister-in-law Gloria LaPonsie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (2510 Richmond St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
