It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Matt Scott of Grand Rapids, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his niece Kora Shrum. He is survived by: his parents, Sally Fein and Mike Scott (Sue Scott); his wife Serenity Scott; his children, Cymbre Spoehr (Michael Spoehr), Eli Scott, Allegra Scott, Shiloh Scott, Odelia Scott and Felicity Scott; and his siblings, Stacy Shrum (Justin), Tim Scott, Kelley, Benny, Grayson and Everleigh Scott. He is also survived by many extended family members and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Project ReGen at Holy Trinity. Matt had always expressed his desire to donate "Matt Scott Memorial Bricks" for refurbishing the church's exterior.
