She was predeceased by: her father Herman Huls; her sister Vearle Araway (Huls); her siblings-in-law, Sien (John Hazenberg) and Gerard De Looff (Joan); and her in-laws, Arie and Wilhelmina De Looff (De Vos).
She is survived by: her mother Edna Huls (Van Den Berge); her husband Art; her brother Jurden (Sue Huls); her children, Lisa (De Looff), Dave Howard, Dan, Kristin De Looff (Ripplinger), Brad and Laura De Looff (Hayward); and her grandchildren, Allison (Howard), Jake Klinck, Adam Howard, Graham Howard, Mara De Looff, Lauren De Looff, Davis, Levi and Audrey De Looff. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the benevolence fund at Calvary Church Grand Rapids, a cause dear to Maxine's heart.
