He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Dorothy; and his brother-in-law Bill. He is survived by: his wife Joie; his children, Michael (Nicole), Robb (Sara), Amy and Angie; his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Emma, Lauren, Luke and Isaac; his sister Cheryl; and his sisters-in-law, Janice, Donna (Bob) and Rhoda (Ron).
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home (3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
