Mickie Shagonaby Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mickie Shagonaby of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mickie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mickie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Shagonaby. She is survived by: her caregivers, Judy and Gord Brinks. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
