She is survived by: her parents, Judah Hamwanza and Gift Hamwanza; her son Lemuel; her siblings, Chichi, Viola, Mwaanga and Ackson; and her husband Michael. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church (1024 Adams St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507). Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, MI 49508).
