She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Barkema and Grace Barkema (Redman); and her brothers, John, Charles and David Barkema.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Earl Hull; her brother Dale; and her children, Richard Earl II (Kimberly), Cheryl Louise (Daniel Spangenberg) and Robert Frank (Mecah). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
The inability to sing with her choir during the COVID pandemic was a poignant disappointment for her, as it was through song that she felt closest to her Lord and her church family.
Her life was a testament to service, whether it was through her professional care for others, her melodious contributions to the church choir, or the way she poured love into every batch of cookies.
