Norman W. Szubinski Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2025, at the age of 89, Norman W. Szubinski of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norman W. Szubinski to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Szubinski and Helen Szubinski (Juchniewicz); his children-in-law, Curtis Barck and Carolyn Szubinski; his granddaughter Mary Christa Szubinski; his sister Diane Szubinski; his parents-in-law, Peter and Eva Brock; and his siblings-in-law, Stanley, Richard, Robert, Theresa Brock and Marilyn Szubinski.
He is survived by: his significant other Helen (Brock); his children, Theresa Barck, Michael Szubinski, David Szubinski, Kathleen Swain (Kenneth), Norma Vachon (Dale Peplinski), Christine Laug (David) and Donald Szubinski (Carla); his brother Roger Szubinski; and his brother-in-law Peter Brock Jr. (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary (3525 Remembrance Rd NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (2510 Richmond St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Carmelite Monastery in Parnell or St. Anthony of Padua Church School or Church.
