It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Owen Van Winkle (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Owen Van Winkle to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Winkle and Margaret Cecile Van Winkle (Mossholder); and his brothers, Clay, Kent, Carl, Hugh and Neil.
He is survived by: his daughters, Margaret Bauman of Grand Rapids and Emily Keller (John) of Grand Rapids; and his grandsons, Matthew Bauman, Joshua, Nathaniel, Benjamin and Isaac Keller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (47 Jefferson Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to God's Kitchen, 303 Division Ave South, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
