She was predeceased by: her sister Gerry Hornberg; and her former husbands, Verne Frede and Lynn Frede. She is survived by: her son Eric Frede (Nancy); her grandchildren, Charles Frede (Carmen), Camille Frede and Harrison Frede (Renee); her great grandchild Emersyn Frede; and her sister Joann Robertson.
