Patty Swanson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patty Swanson (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Patty shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Patty farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her uncle Bud Saylor. She is survived by: her husband David Swanson; her children, Aubriana, Ian and Elijah Swanson; her mother Patsy Thomas; her mother-in-law Dolores Swanson; her sister Mary Saylor; her close friend Michelle Lemmon; and her aunt Mary Jo Saylor.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help cover cremation and a small memorial service, so her life may be honored properly.
