He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marcella Milanowski (Meyer) and Alexander Milanowski; his wife Catherine Lang; his great grandchildren, Christine Steinmeyer (Jim), Susan McKeeby (Jon), Andrea Spillman (Darold), Stephen Milanowski (Patricia), Mary Catherine McGuire (Matt) and Michael (Allison); his brothers, Don Milanowski (Ann) and Tom Milanowski; his sister-in-law Margaret; his siblings, Larry and Marcy; his brother-in-law Richard "Dick" Radecki; his granddaughter Beatrice Lucia; Gabe, Mike (Roni), Nate (Roz), Rose, Zack, Paul (Ashley), Tim (Katie), Jennifer (Charles Chang), Philip (Allison), David (Lydia), Bridget, Anna (Michael), Thomas, Andrew, Emma, Monica (Kenneth VandenBout III), Sarah, Luke, Brennon, Maegan, Caitlin, Avelin, Gavin, Colin, Allison, Maddie, Jensen, Dean, Brooks, Lucas, Violet, Raymond, Max, Benedict, Makayia, Oliver, Reagan and Baby Hoff. He was also cherished by his loving wife of 63 years, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home (3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Isidore the Laborer Catholic Church (628 Diamond Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
