It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula A. Garza of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Pleger and Carol Pleger (George Garza); her siblings, Roy Walden Pleger Jr., Kailey, TJ, Stephanie, Megan, Chris, Nathan and Danielle; and her grandchildren, Damon and Carson.

She was so beloved, the teachers at Brookwood all donated a day of their retirement so she could retire early from her final position as an attendance clerk due to the debilitating course of her battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
