Paula Gecho Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paula Gecho (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on September 12, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chamberlain and Marion Chamberlain; her husband John Gecho; her son James Sperry (Jimmy); and her grandson Daniel Arney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Hazel Arney and Theresa Gecho; her grandchildren, Timothy Arney (Natalie), Kamaria Geerling (Cameron) and Destiny (Brandon); and her sisters, Kathryn Avery (Lou), Barbara Dozier, Dawn Stewart (Don), Penny Chamberlain and Anita Cramer (Jim).
Throughout Paula's life she loved to knit, crochet, and sew which produced many wonderful hats and blankets donated to hospitals for newborn babies as well as quilts for family and friends.
