She was predeceased by: her husband H. Peter DeBoer; her daughter-in-law Jeryl DeBoer; her parents, Martin Postema and Cena Postema; and her siblings, Shirley Jean Boven, John "Bill" Postema and Martin Postema.
She is survived by: her children, David H. DeBoer and Brenda Kay Olger (Michael); her grandchildren, Christopher DeBoer (Shannon), Lee Olger (Melissa) and Andrew Olger; her great grandchildren, Adam DeBoer, Maya Olger, Eli Olger, Holly and Mackenzie Olger; her great great grandchildren, Marcus Olger, Madelyn Wacasey and Malakai Wacasey; and her sister Maxine Postema-DeVrou.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
